Well fuck i can't try any out in person so i'm going to go with either brown or blue i think i would like the clickiness and also i don't play fps games so i dont need a black or red anyone have experience with both? Looking at as a cheap option pbert, check my last post, it has a link to amazon for that exact keyboard. There's $15 mail in rebate as well so its cheaper then newegg. It's coming Tuesday for me, I had it shipped to my office. If you want I'll post up some quick impressions for it if it actually comes with the early morning ups shipment. I ordered a rosewill w/ mx blues off amazon. Believe it or not, the browns are louder on a decibel meter.but the sound is softer, so our ear registers it as less harsh (thus quieter) than the blues. You know, it's weird-before buying my Leopold I watched a lot of YouTube videos of people unboxing and typing on various mechanicals.
They were all SUPER loud in the videos, way louder than they are in real life. Frankly I find my Browns quieter than the membrane keyboard I was using before. I love the sound of Blues though, and if I were living alone I would probably want to type on them exclusively. I need to track down a mechanical keyboard. They don't exist in a 30 min radius of me it seems!
That sampler pack is utterly pointless, yet tempting! And your guys UPS people ask for names? Was it a signature required deal? Mine hand stuff off to the damn neighbors.
Utterly pointless? It's perfect for people like me that want to try out all the different switch types and there are no mechanical keyboards on display anywhere ever.
Sorry, I meant for other than that. You buy a bunch of switches, fiddle with them for 5 min, then they rot for all eternity.
Suppose the O-rings are useful, though. I need to track down a mechanical keyboard. They don't exist in a 30 min radius of me it seems! That sampler pack is utterly pointless, yet tempting!

I'd much rather spend the money on the sampler pack than buy a $150-$200 keyboard (lol Australia) with no idea of how the switches feel.
